This Privacy Policy describes how Mahalli ("Mahalli", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our local SEO platform (the "Service"), currently available at seo.hostup.online. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form), or the basic profile information provided if you sign in with Google (name, email address, profile picture).

Business information you provide. Details about the business locations you choose to track, such as business name, address, phone number, website URL, and the keywords you want to monitor.

Google Business Profile data (with your permission). If you choose to connect your Google Business Profile, we access profile information for the locations you authorize — such as business details, categories, attributes, performance insights, and reviews — solely to provide the Service's features to you (see Section 2).

Usage and technical data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service, used for security, debugging, and improving the product.

Publicly available search data. To provide ranking and competitor features, we collect publicly available search results data (for example, Google Maps and web search rankings) through third-party data providers. This is public information and is not tied to your Google account.

2. How we use Google user data

Limited Use disclosure. Mahalli's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect your Google account and Google Business Profile, we use the data we access only to:

Display your business profile information, insights, and reviews inside your Mahalli dashboard;
Audit your profile and generate recommendations and reports for you;
Monitor changes to your profile and alert you.

We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., our hosting infrastructure), as required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to you, and do not allow humans to read this data unless (a) you give explicit permission, (b) it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or (c) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

You can disconnect your Google account from Mahalli at any time from your account settings, or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon disconnection, we stop accessing your Google data and delete stored Google user data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

3. How we use information generally

To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
To send you service communications, such as scan results, alerts, and reports you request;
To send waitlist and product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time);
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services we rely on

We use a small number of service providers to operate Mahalli, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and search data providers. These providers process data only on our instructions and to the extent necessary to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below; we will complete deletion within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.
